BVA BDRC-owned agency Alligator has promoted Client Services Director Maria Butylina to serve as its Managing Director.

Alligator was launched in 2014 to serve as BDRC's digital specialist, and its offer includes online polls, large scale segmentation studies, mobile research, communities and online reporting platforms. Butylina (pictured) joined in 2021 as Associate Director Client Services and was promoted two years ago to Director. Prior to joining the company she worked for four years at German sample and panel provider respondi, latterly as Senior Project Manager, and earlier she was a Project Manager at full service fieldwork company Made in Surveys, in Lille and London.
Since joining Alligator she has helped to drive the company's efforts to guarantee data quality as new technologies have evolved, and in her new role she will lead the expansion of its services into new areas such as automated probing and synthetic data. Group CEO Matt Costin comments: 'This much-deserved promotion comes at a pivotal time, both for Alligator and for the wider research industry.
