UserTesting Integrates with LinkedIn to Fight Fraud

April 25 2025

In San Francisco, UX research firm UserTesting has announced a new integration with 'Verified on LinkedIn', which it says will give clients 'even greater confidence in the authenticity of participant feedback.'

Karan MavaiUserTesting's solutions provide clients with direct input from customers, from the development stage and throughout the lifetime of products and services. Its offer includes research and consulting services, a proprietary QX Score benchmarking methodology, an experience insights hub, a proprietary contributor network, and AI and ML-driven experience insights software. The firm is a portfolio company of investor Thoma Bravo, alongside Medallia and J.D. Power, and is itself the results of the merger of video-based insight provider UserTesting and UX specialist UserZoom.

The firm says the LinkedIn integration - which is now available to all UserTesting customers - is part of a broader effort to help ensure insights come from 'real, credible individuals' - with panel fraud and 'misrepresentation' challenging the industry. UserTesting already makes use of AI-based detection, behavioral checks, and human review to ensure its participant network remains 'the most trusted in the industry.'

Oscar Rodriguez, VP Product Management at LinkedIn comments: 'We have launched Verified on LinkedIn to help partner organizations integrate the verifications of our members, which can help give confidence in the authenticity of the people and companies their users engage with.' Karan Mavai (pictured), GM of Audience Networks at UserTesting adds, 'This integration with LinkedIn is one of several steps we're taking to help our customers know they're hearing from real people - not bots, not fraudsters, and not falsified personas.'
