Fractal Buys Sustainability Solutions Firm Eugenie

June 27 2024

San Francisco-based AI and advanced analytics solution provider Fractal has acquired Eugenie AI, which provides solutions for firms looking to manage and optimise their policies on climate change and industrial sustainability.

Srikanth VelamakanniFractal says its vision is 'to power every human decision in the enterprise, and bring AI, engineering and design to help the world's most admired companies'. Three-year-old, New York-based Eugenie works for some of the world's largest industrial corporations across energy, metals and mining, and will now be added to a portfolio of businesses which already includes BI specialist Crux Intelligence; revenue growth management firm Asper.ai; Senseforth.ai, which provides conversational AI for customer service; and GenAI sales solutions firm Flyfish. The group currently has more than 4500 employees across seventeen global locations including the US, the UK, Ukraine, India, Singapore, the Middle East and Australia.

The merger, according to Fractal, will enhance its ability to offer comprehensive AI solutions not only for business operations optimization but also contributing to 'a more sustainable and resilient industrial ecosystem'. Srikanth Velamakanni (pictured), the group's co-founder, CEO and Vice Chairman, says that together the firms will aim 'to accelerate the development and deployment of innovative solutions that address some of the most pressing environmental challenges of our time'. Eugenie's founder and CEO Dr. Soudip Roy Chowdhury comments: 'We look forward to working together to create a future where technology and nature coexist harmoniously. By integrating our AI-driven solutions with Fractal's extensive capabilities, we can offer even greater value to our clients, helping them achieve their sustainability goals'.
