QuMind Rolls Out Word Questionnaire Conversion Tool

July 4 2024

London-based research tech firm QuMind has announced the beta release of a feature allowing users to create surveys by uploading a questionnaire created in Microsoft Word.

Alan HargreavesQuMind is a self-serve research platform offering qual and quant surveys with dashboarding, reporting and sharing, and with access to more than a hundred million consumers worldwide through a global panel network. The firm was originally known as Tpoll, then MindMover Group, then in 2021 took the name of its fast-developing platform.

The firm says the new AI-based tool will significantly reduce the time and effort required to create comprehensive surveys, and that the tool 'aims to automate more than half of the survey creation process': this includes automatically importing and formatting questions and answers from the Word document; applying single or multicode formats as appropriate, and incorporating any additional messages included in the document. Routing / logic and interactive question formats still need to be added manually.

MD Alan Hargreaves (pictured) comments: 'The ability to create surveys by uploading a Word questionnaire represents a significant leap forward in our mission to streamline the research process. Our goal has always been to empower researchers to focus on what truly matters - their insights. By automating the survey creation process, we are not only saving our users valuable time but also enhancing their overall productivity. This feature is a testament to our commitment to innovation and our dedication to meeting the evolving needs of our clients. We are excited to see how this will transform the way our users approach survey creation and look forward to their feedback during this beta phase'.
