Senior Dynata Execs Join ACKWEST's TestSet

San Diego-based first party data specialist TestSet has appointed Michael Sanfelippo as President, Dave Kirschbaum as EVP Customer Experience and Shana DeMarinis as SVP Customer Experience. The firm is backed by ACKWEST Group, the investment firm recently set up by Hugh Davis and Keith Price.

TestSet creates 'uncorrupted, unbiased, human-verified first-party data' for use in market research and insights work, combining new tech with 'the expertise and care only humans can provide'. Three months ago it launched in the European market with the appointments in London of MD Colin Turner-Kerr and Director of Operations Dina Patel.

Sanfelippo (pictured top), who joined ACKWEST as Operating Partner in May, worked most recently at Dynata where he was MD responsible for the Market Research Agency client service team in North America, and earlier SVP Customer Experience, during a total of five years at the company. Earlier he spent seven years in VP and SVP roles at Critical Mix prior to its acquisition by Dynata; and before that he worked in client development roles at Toluna and Greenfield Online.

Kirschbaum (pictured below) is an experienced CX executive, having worked at Dynata and predecessor companies for nineteen years in CX roles - he is now charged with 'driving the creation and delivery of remarkable customer experiences'.

DeMarinis (pictured middle) worked at Illinois MR firm Adler Weiner, before joining Survey Sampling (SSI) in 2015 as a Client Delivery Consultant. When SSI merged and the result became Dynata she worked her way up from Account Executive to VP Customer Experience over six years. She is now dedicated to building and leading a top-tier customer service team for TestSet's clients.
