In the UK, FIS Group has announced the launch of a new benchmarking service, via its newly acquired subsidiary Cambridge Market Research. The group says the service is 'set to redefine product testing in the F&B industry'.FIS - which already included food and beverage (F&B) research businesses Food Innovation Solutions, Good Sense Research and KICR Innovation - announced the acquisition of Cambridge MR in January. Cambridge is a full service agency offering quant, qual and sensory research for food, drink, FMCG and retail markets, and is home to the Foodfax grocery product assessment database.
Launching two weeks from today and developed in collaboration with clients, the new 'PIE' solution (Product Insight Excellence) is a bespoke benchmarking service designed to elevate product and brand performance for brands, retailers and product owners. The solution taps the group's decades of product testing knowledge, and can be customised to meet specific brand and product objectives. The service accesses the firm's proprietary, constantly updated database with detailed category norms based on 30,000 tests across more than 450 F&B categories, and identifies key areas to improve customer satisfaction.
Founder and CEO Mike Faers says of the launch: 'We are incredibly excited about the potential of PIE as it brings together over 30 years of product testing expertise, experience, and data from Cambridge Market Research, combined with the innovation expertise of the FIS Group. The team has created a robust, fast, and agile way to improve both your ROI and success rates from your product portfolio'.
The group is online at www.fis-group.co.uk and requests for early access to the new services can be made to mike@fis-group.co.uk .
