In New York, media measurement company VideoAmp has appointed former Ernst & Young (EY) consultant and media auditor Jessica Jensen as Senior Director, Product Methodology and Analytics.
Jensen joins from EY where she worked in Consulting Services for sixteen years. Her role included leading independent audits on behalf of standards body the MRC, and building up the firm's media measurement assurance team, giving her a deep understanding of industry standards and a strong rapport with accreditation bodies, potentially a big bonus for VideoAmp as it battles for share of ad currency among other challengers to Nielsen. VideoAmp says its measurement and currency solutions have seen 'incredible adoption' with eleven agency groups and more than 1,000 advertisers now working in close collaboration with its teams. In April, alongside Comscore, the firm was awarded full certification by the 'JIC' recently created by US media ratings consortium OpenAP and TV ad trade group the Video Advertising Bureau (VAB).
In her new role, reporting to SVP Product Methodology Adria Jewell, Jensen will be responsible for optimizing audit readiness, enhancing transparency and amplifying the company's industry exposure.
Chief Product Officer Josh Hudgins comments: 'We're thrilled to welcome Jessica to VideoAmp as we continue to build out a rock-solid team devoted to measurement standards and compliance efforts. We're serious about pursuing MRC accreditation and look forward to accelerating our progress toward this goal with Jessica at the helm'.
VideoAmp is headquartered in Los Angeles and New York with offices across the USA, and is online at www.videoamp.com .
