OpinionRoute Debuts AI-Based Quality Control Tool

September 18 2024

MR operations company OpinionRoute has announced the launch of QC Flow, an AI-based feature within its Navigator workflow platform, which it says will 'revolutionize the survey data quality assurance process' and significantly accelerate project delivery.

Terence McCarronOpinionRoute has locations in Cleveland, OH, USA and in Cork, Ireland. Its proprietary NavigatOR software streamlines operations and improves data quality for survey researchers, as well as driving the firm's own survey sampling and data collection services.

QC Flow, which is offered as a free upgrade for existing Navigator subscribers, promises effortless importing of survey data into Navigator; an AI co-pilot to assess open-ended responses for quality in content, context and language; quality checks combining fraud evaluation scores from the company's own ResponseID solution with Auto QC flags from in-survey logic; smart tools for data cleaning; and customized configuration for specific projects or teams.

CEO Terence McCarron says the firm believes in 'empowering researchers, not replacing them', and adds: 'QC Flow is another way we provide invaluable support to researchers by plugging into their natural team workflows, vendor performance metrics, and overall project management. This enhancement saves time but also ensures that each project meets the highest standards of data quality'.

The launch forms part of a program of upgrades which also includes secure links, real-time behavioral fraud identification, and expanded reporting and analytics in Navigator's vendor performance benchmarking database.
