Omnicom Buys LeapPoint to Boost Data and CRM Division

Global marcoms group Omnicom has acquired digital advisory firm LeapPoint, via its precision marketing division OPMG. Terms were not disclosed.

Luke TaylorOPMG (Omnicom Precision Marketing Group) says the buy furthers its mission 'to offer the industry's most comprehensive end-to-end content solution, empowering marketers to accelerate workflows and deliver personalized experiences to their customers at speed and scale'. The division pulls together Omnicom's global digital, data and CRM services to deliver targeted customer experiences at scale, powered by tech including AI, and by partnerships with the likes of Adobe and Salesforce. Services include advanced data strategy and analytics, digital transformation, technical and business consulting and change management.

LeapPoint is led by co-founder and CEO Nik DeBenedetto and helps clients optimize their marketing through the integration of people, processes and Adobe technology - the firm is an Adobe Gold Solution Partner. DeBenedetto says the deal will help his firm help clients to 'deploy exceptional employee experiences while delivering on consumers' demands for personalized interactions and powerful brand experiences'.

Luke Taylor (pictured), CEO of OPMG says LeapPoint is 'an expert in delivering the process optimisation, workflow automation and technology integrations critical to the implementation of a modern marketing operating model'.
