Lithuanian company WhiteBridge, which helps individuals to track and manage their online reputation, has secured $500k in pre-seed investment. The funds will be used to grow its team, develop its customer base and continue developing its software.
WhiteBridge's platform aggregates and verifies data from more than one hundred public sources including professional networks, social media and public records - to provide 'a coherent narrative of an individual's digital identity', including professional and educational background, interactions, behavioral tendencies and any data breaches. Features include alerts for newly published information, real-time validation and reverse face search to find all of a user's photos online.
Participants in the round included FIRSTPICK, ScaleWolf, First Degree and Necto Labs, as well as angel investors. Based in Vilnius, Lithuania, The company was launched six months ago and says it already has 50,000 customers.
