Online survey and research services firm QuestionPro has appointed former Human8 data scientist Chris Robson in the new position of VP, Managed Services, creating and heading a new division focused on helping customers get the most out of the firm's research platform.
Austin, Texas-based QuestionPro was established in 2006 and offers a fully integrated online platform for research and CX work. The company has offices in the US, Canada, Mexico, the UK, Germany, Japan, Australia, the UAE and India, and uses AI and a range of techniques to analyse data from surveys, social media, email response and other sources. Recently it has announced a partnership with Kantar to develop tech-enhanced VoC and CX strategies, and acquired Egyptian firm Cmiles CX, which develops 360 degree customer experience and feedback tracking technology. It also bought Paris-based video research platform Tactix, just three weeks ago.
Robson joins from brand consultancy Human8 where he was Global Head of Data Science, developing new methodologies including GenAI applications and LLMs. His data science firm Deckchair Data was merged into Gongos in 2022, the same year that Gongos itself was acquired by Human8.
In addition to Deckchair he co-founded and ran analytics agency Parametric Marketing. Earlier he served as Chief Innovation Officer and Global Head of Research Science at ORC, and before this he managed advanced research and software teams at HP. He holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Mathematics from the Brunel University of London.
In his new role Robson will set up and oversee QuestionPro's Managed Services Group, which provides additional services to clients beyond the firm's main research suite - including project management, study design, custom programming, reporting and analytics. His expertise in AI will be used to integrate the technology across the QuestionPro platform but also to find and exploit new ways to drive insights, for instance through techniques like synthetic data.
QuestionPro founder and Vivek Bhaskaran says he has known and worked with Robson for close to twenty years, and continues: 'In fact, he helped build some of our early features like MaxDiff and others. It's great to have him on board full time to launch a new division and also ensure our customers benefit from the application of AI across our platform'.
The company is on the web at www.questionpro.com .
