TRA Social Media Analysis Firm Zavy Acquired

Canadian firm DATA Communications Management Corp. has acquired New Zealand-based Zavy, a specialist in social media analytics and listening, in an all-cash transaction. Zavy was founded as part of NZ company The Research Agency Limited (TRA).

Zavy logoDCM provides print and digital solutions to simplify complex marcoms and operations workflow, for around 2,500 clients including companies and government agencies. Services include customized printing, personalized marketing communications, campaign management, digital signage and digital asset management.

Zavy helps clients track, measure and evaluate social media data to understand audience engagement, sentiment and campaign effectiveness. The firm has a strong presence in the Australasia market, with clients in the financial services and retail sectors.

Richard Kellam, President & CEO of DCM says Zavy will be integrated into his firm's martech offerings, and comments: 'This acquisition marks a key strategic addition to our portfolio of martech solutions for DCM's more than 400 enterprise clients and 2,000 small and medium sized business customers.
