Rapid Growth for MFour Investor Semrush

November 8 2024

Online visibility management specialist Semrush Holdings, investor in and partner of in-the-moment data collection firm MFour Mobile, has announced strong third quarter results with revenue up 24% to $97.4m.

Oleg ShchegolevSemrush's SaaS platform allows client businesses to run search engine optimization, advertising, content, social media and competitive research campaigns from one interface, and measure and optimize their digital ad campaigns across various channels. In July, it made an unspecified strategic investment in researcher MFour, and in September its clickstream data subsidiary Datos partnered with MFour to combine products based on analysis of browsing behavior with first-party panel-based consumer insights. The firm, which also owns competitive intelligence automation specialist Kompyte, is headquartered in Boston, USA with offices in other US cities and across Europe.

Semrush's non-GAAP income from operations in the quarter ending September 30th was $12.1m, up steeply from $7.5m a year earlier. During the quarter the company says it enhanced a number of its services, including social media engagement tracking and content analysis in Semrush Social; faster and more precise analysis via its daily insights service; the integration of its My Reports service with marketing information and unified data platform Klaviyo, helping marketers to pull email performance data, create dashboards and showcase campaign performance; and the release of product research data from AlgoPix in its App Center.

CEO and founder Oleg Shchegolev notes: 'Our portfolio of products is expanding, and we are seeing continued strong initial uptake in the market for our Enterprise SEO solution. We are expanding our leadership position in online visibility and we are succeeding in combining strong durable growth with profitability and free cash flow generation'. The firm says it expects full year revenue in the range $375m to $376m, representing growth of 22%.
