Larger Mumbai Office for YouGov

November 21 2024

International MR and data analytics group YouGov has opened a new, larger office in the Indian megacity of Mumbai.

New YouGov office in Goregaon, MumbaiFounded and headquartered in the UK, YouGov now also has operations in the Americas, continental Europe, the Middle East, India and Asia Pacific, all drawing on the company's 'Living Data' from 26 million registered panel members to deliver actionable consumer insights.

The company launched operations in India in 2018 and says that since then it has grown its employee base in the country by 400%, including the opening of a Bangalore office. The new, 30,500 square foot Mumbai space is located in Goregaon's Oberoi Commerz complex, and in addition to serving as a hub for YouGov's research activities in India, will house a new shared services centre supporting growing operations across the globe.

Yashwin Pangal, Global Head of CENX at YouGov says the new office 'not only reflects our dedication to the region but also to providing our teams with a state-of-the-art environment that inspires collaboration and innovation'. Group COO Lynda Vivian adds: '[This] extension of our presence enhances our ability to deliver meaningful insights across the world. Since we began operations in India in 2018, our clients have felt the benefit of the first-rate work force in both Mumbai and Bangalore. This new office underscores the importance of this dynamic market to us'.

The announcement comes just five weeks after digital surveys and forms pioneer SurveyMonkey opened its first office in India, located in Bengaluru and serving as a hub for the firm's product development, R&D and customer outreach.
