Agile consumer research platform Bounce Insights has raised $4.5m in funding, with which to expand its offering and triple its headcount, recruiting across the business in order 'to execute on a massive opportunity'.
The company was founded by Rónán Dowling-Cullen, Charlie Butler, Brandon Dooley, Josh Stafford and Brian O'Mahony, at Dublin's Trinity College in 2022, and has previously raised $2m. The platform combines proprietary data, gen AI and expert in-house researchers to help clients make better and faster decisions.
Bounce announced the hiring spree in September and reiterated today that its immediate priorities include software engineering, sales and research, in all three of its current locations - Dublin, London & North America. It aims to triple headcount by the end of 2026, according to co-CEO Butler.
The round was led by ACT Venture Capital, with participation from Irrus Investments, Enterprise Ireland, Digital Irish Venture Fund, and industry veteran Ian Kiernan (MRops), who is an NED of the company.
Co-CEO Dowling-Cullen comments: 'This funding is fuel that will allow us to continue to ship new product fast, expand our offering for clients and grow the team to execute on a massive opportunity. We are raring to go, it's going to be an exciting few years'. Butler adds: 'We leverage generative AI and proprietary datasets to not only replace the number of humans in the market research process, but build a superior offering for brands. It is an industry dominated by repeatable tasks, and we are going to change that'.
