Enterpret, a San Francisco-based customer feedback platform for product development and CX teams, has raised $20.8m in a series A funding round, with which to expand its business and develop its product with the addition of 'Actionable AI'.
Founded in 2020 by Varun Sharma (pictured) and Arnav Sharma, Enterpret builds software to bring together and analyze large amounts of unstructured feedback from multiple sources. The firm's proprietary Customer Knowledge Graph extracts key themes, sentiment, underlying issues, topics and trends, with the aim of improving customer satisfaction and customer-centricity. CEO Varun Sharma says teams are 'overwhelmed with unstructured feedback - support tickets, sales calls, surveys, social media comments - spread across silos. As a result, opportunities are missed, and problems grow before they're resolved'.
The firm prides itself on the transparency and 'inspectability' of its insights, and its emphasis on helping client teams to collaborate and 'move forward together'. On its web site, Varun Sharma says 'Actionable AI' will help clients to 'catch bugs and anomalies before they become crises... Automatically close the loop with customers to drive loyalty... and seamlessly integrate insights into the tools teams already love'.
The round was led by Rayfe Gaspar-Asaoka at Canaan Partners - who joins the Enterpret Board. Also participating in the funding were Kleiner Perkins, Peak XV Partners, Wing Ventures, Recall Capital, and a number of angel investors.
