In Boston, US, enterprise knowledge management platform Northern Light Group has announced $23m in growth investment, with which to scale its operations and continue product innovation.

Northern Light's knowledge management platforms provide competitive intelligence and market insights to global enterprises looking to enhance strategy, R&D, product management, marketing and sales. Its SinglePoint portal solutions, launched in 1998, have more than 200,000 users worldwide, and fifteen months ago it added a feature called QuickBoards, allowing any user to create a topical market or competitive intelligence research dashboard 'in seconds'.
The new funds came from NYC-based LoneTree, which also provides operational and M&A support and whose representatives Mike Devine, Rhett Lambert and Peter Bozian will join Northern Light's Board of Directors.
David Seuss, CEO of Northern Light says the investment is 'a significant milestone, validating [the firm's] current and future market position and product strength'. He adds: 'We chose LoneTree as a partner because of the firm's sector expertise, collaborative investment approach and experience with helping companies accelerate their growth'.
