Bastion's Zhang Joins Think HQ as Cross-Cultural Head

In Australia, purpose-driven communications agency Think HQ has appointed former Bastion researcher Isabel Zhang as Head of Cross-Cultural Research.

Zhang's twenty plus years in multicultural and cross-cultural research have included spells in Australia, Singapore and Malaysia. For the last six he has worked at MR and customer experience consultancy Bastion Insights where she was GM of Cross-Cultural Insights, and helped launch the Golden Voice Community research panel of culturally and linguistically diverse groups (CALD). Earlier she spent six years at Nielsen, latterly as head of Qual, Australia, after spells at Firestar Research and TNS. Her experience includes work in financial services, property, tourism and travel, education, government, FMCG and retail, helping companies to navigate complex multicultural environments. Separately, Zhang has recently been appointed as CEO of the Australian Institute for Diversity in Mental Health, with which role she will continue.
