Funds and Content Optimization Launch for GetWhys

US-based company GetWhys has announced $2.75m in seed funding, with which to to expand its engineering team and accelerate development of its AI-powered customer insights platform. The firm has also announced a new content development offering called Echo.

Founded by B2B research consultants, GetWhys applies AI to a proprietary database of in-depth interviews with software customers (known as InsightDB), combining this with clients' existing research assets and call recordings, promising 'instant access to authentic customer research'. The company's Compass product, launched last year, uses these techniques to help marketing teams gather competitive intelligence, build buyer personas and develop go-to-market strategy.

The new product, Echo, helps customers develop content, including web copy and emails, using genuine customer perspectives and behavioral data to identify the most effective approach. GetWhys says Echo 'enforces messaging discipline', making sure that customer communications are always aligned with an organization's messaging frameworks, buyer personas, and other foundational materials.

The round, which adds to $0.75m raised earlier, was led by Next Frontier Capital, with participation from Tuesday Capital and Capital Eleven.
