Bloomington, MN-based full-service market research firm ISG has appointed Lori Laflin as SVP of Customer Experience and MR Consulting. The firm - not to be confused with Michael Connors' tech consulting group ISG - began life in 1996 as a data collection specialist but has expanded to provide a wide range of services from segmentation and tracking studies to innovation testing and and strategy consulting.
Laflin (pictured) joins after a year's career break, prior to which she was VP Client Experience and Digital Strategy at farm credit co-operative Compeer Financial, and before this she spent nine years in CX and research management roles at privately run food and beverage giant Cargill. Earlier in her career she held research roles at National Computer Systems, GfK Custom Research NA, and spent four years as Coordinator of Strategic Opinion Research at the State of Minnesota Dept of Human Services.
The firm says her arrival 'brings a new dimension of customer experience and market research expertise' and will improve its ability to deliver end-to-end insights and strategies to drive meaningful results for clients.
