Qual Hire and Quant Promotion for Truth

Strategic insights agency Truth Consulting has appointed Jon Suarez as Head of Qual: Behaviour & Culture, leading the team in this sector and helping to further develop its proposition. The firm has also promoted Juliet Wood to Director Quant & Analytics.

Jon SuarezFounded in 2007 by MR sector veteran Andy Dexter and now led by Dr Matilda Andersson, Truth focuses on brand, innovation, audience and business strategy. The firm was acquired by Instinctif Partners, an EMEA business communications consultancy, and serves as and its insight and research division.

Suarez joins from BASIS where he was, strengthening client strategies and enhancing the qual practice, and earlier held senior roles at Crowd DNA and other agencies. His experience spans sectors including technology, media, telecoms, lifestyle and retail.

MD Andersson, to whom he reports, comments: 'Jon brings over a decade of experience in cultural insights and qualitative research, and I am really excited to welcome someone of his skill, expertise and talent to our team'.

Wood has been with Truth for three years, and according to the firm has made 'a huge difference to the quality of work and its way of applying storytelling with numbers'. She is also active in MRS's Unlimited working group and is an advocate driving change in the industry, especially within the field of disability. In her new role she will help to drive the continuing development of the firm's future-facing quant and analytics offer.
