Funds for Sponsorship Analytics Firm SponsWatch

Stockholm-based sponsorship analytics company SponsWatch has received EUR 1m in seed funding, with which to scale its operations and enhance its products.

Mauricio TorresSponsWatch, which was established in2021, uses proprietary AI and machine learning software including computer vision tech and social media listening to analyse video, image, audio and text content, and gauge sponsorship impact across TV broadcasts, social media, web sites, podcasts and web radio. Its platform incorporates real advertising costs, net reach, audience attention spans and engagement metrics, to help teams, leagues and sponsors maximise logo exposure, optimise sponsorship strategies and accurately measure ROI.

The round was led by node.vc, with participation from Venrex, and node.vc partner Mårten Skogö will join the SponsWatch board.
