In the UK, ad currency management body Barb has appointed RSMB to build a new analytics system which will support full-cycle campaign planning and reporting on linear and VOD services, via a web-based interface.Barb says its clients will be able to access and export data from its pre-campaign planning and optimisation tool, Advanced Campaign Hub and CFlight cross-media post-campaign evaluation service. Standalone and customised reports can be run with advanced data visualisation capabilities, and automated requests for reports made via API, for ingestion into proprietary reporting tools.
At the same time, further upgrades will be rolled out for CFlight, focusing on extending the coverage of VOD services and enhancing reporting, with users able to analyse performance by sales house and to assess VOD-only campaigns.
The new system, which will tap into the data storage capabilities of the organisation's new Data Hub, is set for launch in January next year and will be developed, maintained and run by RSMB.
Luca Vannini, Head of Campaign Audiences at Barb, says clients 'overwhelmingly expressed their desire for a new, modern interface to access Advanced Campaign Hub and CFlight', and adds: 'As the architects of the underlying methodologies of both these systems, RSMB has an excellent understanding of our campaign planning and reporting requirements'.
Ross Wightman (pictured), Commercial Director at RSMB, says the new interface 'represents a step-change in how the industry plans and evaluates video advertising, bringing together the powerful methodologies of Advanced Campaign Hub and CFlight into a single, user-friendly system'.
Analysis will continue to be available via the existing Advanced Campaign Hub and CFlight interfaces until the full launch of the new system, which has the working name of Total Campaign Reporting Suite.
