Two Hires for Fast-Growing Alter Agents

Full service MR consultancy Alter Agents has appointed Matt Kischer-Sallman as Research Director and Jess Largent as Senior Research Manager. The firm says it has increased headcount by 30% in the past year.

Alter Agents, originally known as Dialogue and co-founded by former Hall & Partner Directors, is based in Los Angeles and has been led since 2019 by Rebecca Brooks. The firm uses an immersive approach to help clients in technology, consumer goods, travel, retail and other sectors.

Kischer-Sallman (pictured above) brings fifteen years of experience in the sector, including UX research and brand storytelling, and joins from VICE Media where he was Senior Director of Global Insights, leading projects exploring cultural shifts, consumer trust and audience engagement. He joined the company in 2017, and his earlier career includes two spells at Fuel Cycle as well as work at iCrossing and at retailer Macy's. He holds a master's degree in Global Marketing Communications and Advertising from Emerson College and a bachelor's in Marketing from Butler University. In his new role, based in New York, he will lead research strategy, mentor teams and strengthen client partnerships.

Largent (pictured below) also brings fifteen years' MR experience, including project management, data analysis and research execution. She spent the last dozen years at Ipsos, latterly overseeing large-scale research initiatives across multiple industries - and joined the company with the acquisition of Synovate, where she developed expertise in data collection, quality assurance and project management. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her new role is based in Chicago.
