Cinelytic Buy Adds Audience Analysis Tools

In Los Angeles, entertainment industry content intelligence platform Cinelytic has announced the acquisition of Jumpcut Media, which provides AI-driven IP management and audience analysis tools. Terms were not disclosed.

Tobias QueisserCinelytic says the buy cements its role as a comprehensive solution for optimizing decision-making and productivity across the entire filmmaking value chain. Its products include AI-powered scripting tool Callaia; Cinelytic, which provides revenue forecasting, talent analytics and optimization of distribution strategies; and RightsTrade, which is used for evaluating, screening, buying and selling content rights. Clients include major Hollywood studios.

Jumpcut's AI-powered IP management & evaluation platform is based around flagship product ScriptSense, whose AI-assisted chat, version comparison and budgeting breakdown tools allow entertainment professionals to organize and analyze creative materials with greater speed. The firm's software has been used by more than 400 studios and agencies to assess and manage more than 10,000 film and television projects. This and another tool, SocialSense, will now be integrated with Cinelytics' platform to provide clients with insights into content development, audience alignment and market potential, in real time.
