Digital ad industry association IAB Australia has appointed Nicole Prior, Head of Media and Adtech Solutions APAC at Microsoft Advertising, as Chair of its Executive Technology Council (ETC) and ETC's representative on the association's board.She replaces Adele Wieser, MD of Index Exchange, who has completed her two-year stint as Chair.
The IAB is an independent industry association with more than 170 members in Australia and nearly 9,000 across 47 offices globally. Members include media owners, publishers, technology companies, agencies and advertisers. The ETC focuses on identifying and addressing critical issues in advertising technology innovation, with a particular focus on the digital value chain. Among its priorities are development and upskilling of the industry via the IAB Mentorship Program; and collaboration with IAB Australia's technology-focused councils on ongoing projects including the delivery of definitions and guidance around Made for Advertising sites.
Prior brings to her new position nearly thirty years of industry experience, from roles across agency, ad tech and publisher companies, including Xandr, UM Australia, Mediacom, Starcom and Seven Network.
