New Head of Sales for Catalyse

MR business developer Irena Hempel has rejoined a number of her former colleagues from respondi, taking the role of Global Head of Sales at fast-growing fieldwork and sampling operations company Catalyse Research.

Catalyse positions itself as 'the technology backbone of the world's most successful insights companies', and has offices in Orlando, FL; Ontario, Canada; and London, as well as an Operations office in Gurgaon, India. Six weeks ago it appointed Amar Sudra as Director of Operations and promoted Faraz Zamyadi to Managing Director, UK. Hempel (pictured) worked with both these two at German sample and panel provider respondi, which she joined as Sales Manager in 2010 - she was promoted to Vice President of Sales UK in 2018, and Sales Director of the merged Bilendi + respondi in 2023.

In her new role, according to a LinkedIn post, her focus will be on building a strong global brand, promoting the firm as a supplier of high-quality, end-to-end online and off-line data solutions through proprietary online access panels in 60 countries.
