Hearts & Science Names Leader for New Hong Kong Office

Omnicom's data-focused marketing network Hearts & Science has opened in Hong Kong, with the appointment of Doris Kuok as Managing Partner.

Hearts & Science was launched nine years ago this month as a division of the marcoms giant's media services division OMG (Omnicom Media Group). The company aims to help marketers with personalized digital marketing, CRM, addressable channels, and real-time insights and targeting. It works closely with the group's Annalect analytics division, with shared leadership in some regions. The agency has been expanding rapidly in the APAC region, underscored by the appointment in January of fourteen-year group veteran Rochelle Chhaya as its first APAC CEO, previously CEO of OMG Thailand.

Kuok worked previously at OMG Hong Kong, where she was instrumental in Hearts & Science winning accounts for Warner Bros. Discovery in APAC and AS Watson in Hong Kong. Her new role includes overseeing operations, strategic direction, financial performance and client relationships.

She will report to OMG Hong Kong's COO Derek Yip, who comments: 'The expansion of Hearts & Science into Hong Kong represents a pivotal moment for OMG, as we establish a third agency offering. A dynamic individual with strong business acumen is required to lay the groundwork for Hearts & Science's success in the market, and we have found that leader in Kuok.
