UK's Barb Picks MediaSense and Snowflake for Data Hub

UK video audience measurement body Barb has selected MediaSense and Snowflake as its partners for the Barb Data Hub, a new cloud-based system for storing, processing and distributing its data.

UK's Barb Picks MediaSense and Snowflake for Data HubThe ad currency org put the tender invite out last July for the new service, which is part of a new data distribution strategy. Media advisors MediaSense will help the body to set up, develop and maintain the new data warehouse, while Snowflake will serve as the cloud data platform.

In addition to makes access to Barb data easier and more flexible, the Hub will help with its sustainability plans by reducing the duplication of databases and the application of calculation methodologies. The Hub is scheduled for launch in the second half of this year.
